House Restoration

The main house at Mirabile Ranch was formerly a Union Pacific railroad section house built circa 1895 and originally located at the Buna Railroad Depot. The house was moved to the current site from the Buna Railroad Depot circa 1955. Restoration work on the camp house at Mirabile Ranch began in earnest in January of 2021. Phillip Hooks and his son Jacob have arranged and conducted all of the work themselves. They each have many years of experience building homes. Not only are they knowledgeable about the craft of homebuilding, but also ranching infrastructure and just about anything else is seems.

Tonya & Keith Jarrell have taken it upon themselves to nurture the ranch back to a state of production from it's unkept state. They each bring an incredible amount of experience to their work. Keith was formerly employed by Bruce's Inc. in Evadale, Tx before transitioning to a full-time position as ranch foreman at Mirabile Ranch. Their skills include wildlife management, infrastructure maintenance, and just about anything else on a ranch that you can think of.
